Isabela came up through housekeeping and the front desk over fourteen years, which is why she still checks rooms herself on changeover day. She walks the site at 07:00 before breakfast opens. Ask her about the tides — she swims a kilometre most mornings and has firm views on the current.
Jonas Halvorsen — Guest services
Jonas handles everything from a lost passport to a table for eleven at short notice. He has worked five seasons here and remembers returning guests better than the booking system does. He will also tell you honestly which of the excursions is not worth the money.
Amara Sissoko — Kids’ club lead
Amara trained as a primary teacher and runs the club like a small school with better weather. She writes the week’s plan on a board every Sunday evening so parents can see what is coming. Two rules only: sun cream at 11:00, and nobody sits out unless they want to.

FAQ answers
What time is check-in and check-out?
Rooms are ready from 15:00 and we ask you to leave them by 11:00. If your flight is late in the evening we will hold the bags, give you a changing room by the pool and keep your wristband active until you go.
Is the resort suitable for teenagers?
Between about 13 and 17 there is less laid on, since the kids’ club stops at 12. There are two floodlit tennis courts open until 22:00, kayaks at the beach hut, and a 20-minute walk into the village. Most teenagers find the terrace and stay there.
Do I need to book the restaurants in advance?
For the two à la carte restaurants, yes, by 18:00 the previous day, at the desk or from the room phone. The buffet never needs booking. In August we cap à la carte at one evening per room per five nights, simply so that everyone gets a turn.
How far is the nearest town?
The village is 1.6 km along the seafront, roughly 20 minutes on foot and flat the whole way. A shuttle runs every half hour from 10:00 to 23:30 at $3 return. The larger market town is 14 km inland and worth a morning, ideally on a Friday.

We are a family resort that does not pretend to be a nightclub, and a quiet resort that does not pretend children are a problem. Both of those are true at the same time, and it takes about a day to see how.
Rates for next summer are published on 1 October and deposits are $200 a room, refundable up to 45 days before arrival. Around 45% of the people who stay with us in July have stayed here before.
