FAQ answers
Why do I need a strand test?
Because hair keeps a record of everything that has been on it, and box dye and henna both behave unpredictably under bleach. The test takes twenty minutes, costs nothing, and happens at least 48 hours ahead. Once in a while it saves a very expensive afternoon.
How much does colour cost?
Root tint £58, half head of foils from £95, full head from £130, toner £28. Corrections are quoted individually and rarely come in under £220. Every price includes the finish, and nothing is added at the till without you having heard about it first.
Can I always book the same stylist?
Yes, and most people do — the booking page lets you choose. If yours is fully booked and you are willing to see somebody else, say so and we will pass on the notes: formula, timings, and the fact that you cannot bear a middle parting.
How soon can I wash it after colouring?
Leave it 72 hours if you can manage it, then wash in cooler water with something sulphate-free. The first ten days is when most of the fade happens. If the tone drifts warmer than you wanted, come back within a fortnight and we will re-gloss it for nothing.
