A fault code is a starting point, not a diagnosis. When a warning light comes on we read the codes, then test the circuit, the sensor and the thing the sensor is measuring, because replacing parts until the light goes out is expensive and we have all seen that bill. Diagnostic time is €55 for the first hour and comes off the repair.

Repairs & servicing

  • Full & interim servicing — Interim at €189 and full at €345, both to the manufacturer’s schedule with the correct oil grade and a stamp in the book. Includes a 42-point check and a written note of what will need doing next time.
  • Diagnostics & fault finding — €55 for the first hour, deducted from the repair. Fault codes, live data, pressure and voltage tests, and a plain explanation of what is actually broken, in writing, before you decide anything.
  • Brakes & suspension — Pads and discs from €215 an axle fitted, with the old ones shown to you. Suspension work always ends with a geometry check; skipping it is how a €400 job becomes a set of tyres in 6,000 km.
  • Timing belts & clutches — The jobs where an original part earns its price. Belt, tensioner and water pump together from €640, clutch and dual-mass flywheel from €980, both quoted to the cent before the car comes in.

You choose the parts. Original manufacturer parts cost more and we will tell you when they are worth it: timing components, brake hydraulics, anything that fails badly. For filters, discs and pads, matching-quality parts from the same factories cost 30–40% less and carry the same two-year guarantee. Old parts go in a box and come back with the car.

Hero lines

  • We show you the worn part
  • Diagnostics before parts
  • Servicing that keeps the warranty

Four ramps, two diagnostic bays and a labour rate of €78 an hour, quoted in writing before we touch anything.

We photograph what is worn, send it to your phone, and wait for a yes before ordering a single part.

Manufacturer schedules, original or matching-quality parts, and a service stamp that keeps a new-car warranty intact.

Team bios

Tobias Rennick — Workshop foreman

Tobias has been under cars for twenty-two years and can usually name the fault from the sound before the bonnet is up, then tests it anyway, which is the part that matters. He trains both apprentices and will not let them near a timing belt in the first year.

Nour Kassab — Diagnostic technician

Nour takes the electrical work everybody else has given up on: intermittent faults, wiring looms, modules that have stopped talking to each other. She once spent nine hours on a fault that turned out to be a corroded earth behind a headlight, and she still talks about it.

Grzegorz Malec — Service advisor

Grzegorz is the voice on the telephone and the person who writes the estimates. He explains what is urgent, what can wait six months, and what a previous garage has already charged you for. Selling a service the car does not need makes him visibly uncomfortable.

Quotes

“Another garage quoted €1,300 for a new gearbox. Nour found a €40 sensor and a bad connection behind it. The car has done 14,000 km since then without a single problem.”

Ilse Marquardt, Estate car, five years old

“They sent photographs of the corroded brake lines while I was at work, with a price beside each one. I said yes at 11:00 and the car was ready by 16:30 the same day!”

Ferenc Szilagyi, Annual service & repair

“I asked for the old parts back, expecting a sigh and a lecture. The answer was “they are already in your boot” — and they were, in a box, labelled.”

Cathal Byrne, Customer since 2017

FAQ answers

Will servicing here affect my new-car warranty?

No. We service to the manufacturer’s schedule, use oil to the correct specification and record everything in the digital service history, which is all the warranty requires. Bring the book or the online record reference and we will keep it up to date for you.

How long does a service take?

An interim service takes about ninety minutes and a full service around three hours. Booked in before 09:00, the car is ready the same afternoon. If we find something that has to be ordered, most parts arrive by 13:00 the next working day.

Do you offer a courtesy car?

Four of them, free, booked at the same time as the job — they go quickly in the first week of the month. There is no charge and no distance limit, only the fuel you use and a licence check we do at the counter.

Can you collect the car from me?

Within 30 km, yes: €35 each way, or free on any job over €500. We collect between 08:00 and 10:00 and return the car by 18:00 the same day where the work allows. For a car that will not start, describe the symptoms first.

Closing lines

We would rather explain a repair than carry out one you do not need. Ring us, describe the noise, and if it sounds like something that can safely wait until the next service, that is exactly what we will tell you.

Booking is by telephone or online, usually three to four working days ahead, and two emergency slots are kept free every morning. The estimate you are given is what the invoice says, every time and without exception.
