Renske Bakker — Founder
Renske trained as an upholsterer and still cuts the difficult fabrics herself, because a velvet rolled the wrong way will show it forever. She takes most of the survey visits in the north of the region. Two whippets, one workshop cat.
Tobias Lindqvist — Workshop manager
Tobias runs the cutting table and the assembly bench and keeps our fourteen-day lead time honest. He came from joinery, which is why our shutter frames are mitred rather than butted. Plays double bass in a very loud band!
Amara Osei — Fitter & surveyor
Amara has fitted somewhere north of nine thousand blinds and can tell from the doorway whether a recess intends to argue with her. She carries a laser and a steel tape, and trusts the tape. Notoriously fast on stairs.

FAQ answers
How long from order to fitting?
Fourteen days for roller, roman and venetian blinds, since they are made here. Shutters run to six or eight weeks because the frames are built to a template and sprayed. Awnings are about three weeks unless you want a colour outside the standard range.
Can you fit blinds in a bathroom?
Yes, though not every fabric belongs there. We use polyester or PVC-faced fabrics that shrug off condensation, and aluminium venetians rather than wooden ones — real wood will bow within two winters in a room that hits 90% humidity every morning.
Do awning motors need power outside?
A hard-wired motor needs a fused spur within about 2 m, which an electrician can usually run in an hour. Battery motors avoid all that and last roughly eighteen months per charge on a domestic awning. We will tell you which suits your wall.
What if a blind stops working later?
Mechanisms and motors are covered for five years, fabric for two. Beyond that we still repair: a new chain control is €40 fitted and a tube motor about €120, because scrapping a perfectly good blind over a €40 part is absurd.

Measuring is free, takes roughly twenty minutes a room and includes the sample book. We come to you in the evening if that is easier — about a third of our appointments are after six.
Everything is made 40 minutes from your door, so if something is wrong we come back and put it right. Usually the same week, and never with an argument about it.
