The generator above shuffles the whole bank. Below is the rest of it, laid out block by block, so you can read the words before you paste them anywhere.

Founded in 1931 as a savings society for local trades — still owned by its 214,000 members rather than by shareholders.
Twenty-two branches, one contact centre, and a mortgage team that reads every single application by hand.
Deposits protected under the national deposit guarantee scheme up to the statutory limit, and no monthly fee on the standard current account.
Team bios
Antoine Delacroix — Head of business banking
Antoine has been lending to small firms for twenty-six years, eleven of them here. He once approved a bakery, two haulage yards and a puppet theatre in the same week, and he still visits every business he lends more than $250,000 to.
Carmen Robles — Mortgage underwriting lead
Carmen runs a team of nine underwriters and insists that every declined application carries a written reason a human being can act on. She joined in 2016 after fourteen years in surveying, which is why she asks awkward questions about roofs.
Henrik Ostrowski — Fraud & disputes manager
Henrik's team recovered $1.4 million for members last year and stopped rather more than that before it ever left the building. He will happily explain, at length, why nobody from this bank will ring and ask you to move money to a safe account.
Quotes
“Two larger banks declined me in eight minutes flat, by computer. Carmen's team read the file, rang me about the flat roof, and made a formal offer on day nine.”
Dana Whitlock, Member since 2021
“My card was cloned on a Sunday evening. Someone answered on the second ring, refunded $840 provisionally before we hung up, and said “you will not be out of pocket while we look into this” — and I was not.”
Chidi Okonkwo, Current account customer
“Twenty-eight years with this bank, and the people in my branch still know my name and ask after my daughter. Try getting that anywhere else these days!”
Ruth Beckerman, Member since 1997
FAQ answers
Is my money protected if the bank fails?
Yes. Eligible deposits are covered by the national deposit guarantee scheme up to the statutory limit per person and per institution, and each holder of a joint account is covered separately. The protection is automatic: there is nothing to apply for and no cost to you.
How long does switching an account take?
Seven working days from the date you choose. We move your standing orders, your direct debits and your incoming salary, and payments sent to the old account are redirected for three years afterwards. You do not need to contact your old bank at any point.
Do you still have branches?
Twenty-two of them, open 9am–4.30pm on weekdays and until 1pm on Saturday. We have closed two in the past decade and opened one, and any closure is announced at least six months ahead with a written explanation to every member who uses it.
Why is your savings rate not the highest advertised?
Because we hold it steady instead of launching a headline rate that quietly drops after four months. Our instant-access account has paid within 0.20% of the market average for six straight years, and we have never operated a bonus rate that expires without telling you.
Closing lines
You can open an account online in about twelve minutes, or walk into any branch with proof of identity and address and leave with a working card the same day. There is no minimum deposit and no monthly fee on the standard account.
If you would rather ask questions first, the contact centre is open 7am to 11pm every day of the year, including the ones when everybody else is closed. Ask for a person and you will get one.
